Aston Villa have confirmed Steven Gerrard as their new manager. He is said to have impressed the board since moving into coaching with Glasgow Rangers where he won the Premiership title and also so his experience in Europe.
His first game in charge will be against Brighton at Villa Park on Saturday 20th November.
